Moreover, the jacket is easier to handle which makes the installation seamless. However, be aware that the jacket of the Cat 6a copper is not designed for indoor air-handling spaces. It is specifically designed for enclosed spaces indoors such as between floors, elevator shafts, cable ducts, etc.
10 Gigabit Performance
At up to 100 meters, the category 6a copper cable can support up to 10 gigabit per second transmission speeds. Since it comes with solid bare copper conductors, you can also use it for Power Over Ethernet applications.
The solid bare copper conductors of the cat6a riser cable also make sure the signal integrity remains intact. It is ideal for long-distance transmissions as well as short distances.
