Cat5e Riser Cable
Cat5e Riser cable is a premium ethernet cable that comes with a CMR-rated jacket. CMR is a short abbreviation for Communications Multipurpose Cable Riser, and as does the name suggests, the cable finds its usage in vertical or riser spaces of the buildings. Riser spaces are also high-risk areas and an ethernet cable with a CMR-rated jacket, like Cat5e Riser Bulk, halts fire progression and emits very little smoke or toxic elements/gases.
The cable supports data transfer speeds of 100 Mbps up to a length of 100 meters or 328 feet and 1 Gbps up to a distance of 50 meters or 164 feet. The cable comes with a bandwidth capacity of 350 MHz (that is much more than industry standards of 100 MHz). This Cat5e Riser 1000ft has as many as 8 conductors that are tightly bundled together to keep signal quality intact and to provide excellent protection against crosstalk and EMI. Both these elements mess with your signal and interrupt connectivity. The pure copper conductors also have less attenuation. It means the loss of signal strength is minimum and you enjoy the proper connection.
We have tested this cable extensively and it is completely safe for installation and usage. This cable has also passed stern fluke testing.
Cat5e Riser runs a 24 AWG and supports all high-speed applications such as 10BASE-T (Ethernet), 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet GbE). Our Cat5e Riser Bulk exceeds the following standards: FCC, CE, ISO/IES, TIA/EIA, and is in compliance with RoHS. The cable comes with a 10-year warranty. You can also install Cat5e Riser in outdoor spaces, but it can’t be otherwise.
Here at NewYork Cables, we offer free shipment on orders above $249.99. Our prices are not only economical but we also offer special discounts on bulk purchases. To get in touch with us, drop an email at [email protected].

What is the longest distance for Cat5e?
The Cat5e cable comes in spools of 1000ft. However, you can only run the cable at up to 100 meters or 328 feet to get its best performance. Running the cable at longer distances than that may result in a loss in signal quality.
When should riser cable be used?
The riser cable should be used in vertical installations inside commercial and residential buildings. Moreover, it is used from floor to floor, through elevator shafts, or inside walls.
What is the best way to extend a Cat5 cable?
The best way to extend a cat5e cable is to use inline couplers. Couplers are highly affordable and easy to use devices that connect two ends of ethernet cables.
What are the benefits of using the Cat5e Riser Cable?
The cat5e riser cable offers high-speed data transfer rates with minimized EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio frequency interference). It is also highly affordable, long-lasting, and easy to use. Moreover, the cat5e riser cable is compatible with almost all of the latest devices such as gaming consoles, smart TVs, etc.
