This Multimode Duplex Fiber Optic OM4 patch cable (50/125) โ€“ SC to SC, high-speed multimode cable will unleash the power of your local area network. With ceramics ferrules and a 50/125-micron core, this OM4 Multimode Fiber cable is suitable for extremely high-speed data transmissions such that you would find in 100 Gigabit Ethernet networks. This cable is laser optimized. LC to ST Fiber is a multimode OM4 cable. It has two same connectors at both ends of the cable. SC stands for โ€œStandard Connectorโ€. It uses a ferrule of 2.5mm. multi-mode fiber optic cables have a typical core size of either 50 microns or 62.5 microns.  They have a cladding size of 125 microns.  Shorter cable distances, especially in data centers are common uses for multi-mode cables. Multimode Fiber Optic OM4 cables are typically manufactured to certain specifications and are classified by Optical Mode categories. The LC to ST OM4 fiber designation standardizes the nomenclature across all manufacturers so that the customer has a clearer idea of the product that they are buying. OM4 Cable is completely backward-compatible with OM3 fiber and shares the same distinctive aqua jacket.
