Unshielded Solid Copper Conductors

The cat5e 1000ft plenum cable features 4 pairs of 24 AWG conductors at its core. These wires are unshielded and wrapped inside an insulation. You can use either the EIA/TIA T568A or T568B wiring scheme to terminate.  The UTP cat5e solid cable is easier to install and the bare copper conductors make it ductile and easy to handle. Each conductor pair is twisted tightly to keep the electromagnetic interference and crosstalk at a minimum. The solid conductors also help keep interference at a minimum while ensuring high-quality data transmission.
