This Cat5e Plenum bears UL-Listed marking which means the cable has been extensively tested against all widely accepted industry standards and is completely safe for installation in the plenum spaces of the buildings. Being a plenum cable, the UL-Listed Cat5e Plenum cable comes with a CMP-rated jacket which means supreme quality material has been used in its making. This material gives the cable fire-retardant properties.

This Cat5 Plenum Solid UL-Listed cable comes with a bandwidth capacity of 350 MHz and supports data transfer rates of 1Gbps up to a distance of 50 meters and 100Mbps up to a distance of 100 meters. The thick jacket provides top-rated protection against all types of crosstalk and prevents electromagnetic interference. It means signal quality remains intact. The bare copper conductors surpass every aspect of the performance when compared to the copper-clad aluminum conductors. Therefore, if you are going to install cable in harsh environments, it is always better to use an ethernet cable that comes with bare copper conductors.

The inner structure comprises 8 pure copper conductors that are tightly bundled together in 4 twisted pairs. Cat5 Plenum Solid UL-Listed cable runs 24AWG. The biggest advantage of pure copper cable is that it has less attenuation thus keeping signal integrity intact. Also, pure copper conductors work extremely well in harsh environments.
