The cable actually is a true plenum (I tested with a burn test) and little to no smoke.Keep in mind if you get the CAT6 their cable is 22 AWG and the jacket is larger than other brands. You will need to get CAT6 wide RJ-45 connectors, but all patch panels and keystones will work.
