The official name of coronavirus is SAR-CoV-2, which means severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. Any infection with this virus can lead to COVID-19. This disease is related to SAR-CoV, which is another type of virus that appeared in 2002 and 2003. But SAR-CoV-2 is different from any other known disease. 

It started from Wuhan, a provincial capital of China. It has spread throughout the world in less than four months. The United States and Europe are the center of this virus these days. Several cases are increasing every hour. This virus is airborne and it can survive on various surfaces long enough to infect anyone. You can pass on this virus even if you don’t have any symptoms.

Here are a few tips that can help you avoid this venereal disease:

 Wash your hands frequently

This is one of the most effective ways to prevent this virus. Wash your hands with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds. Rub the lather on your wrists, between the fingers, and under your nails as well. Antibacterial and antiviral soaps are highly effective. You can also use hand sanitizer if you cannot wash your hands. Wash your hands after touching your laptops and phones.

Do not touch your face

Coronavirus can survive on any hard surface for 72 hours. If you touch any surface that has this virus and then you touch your face with those hands, you can get sick with this. The best solution is to avoid touching your face. Also, don’t rub your eyes and nose. Don’t bite your fingernails as well. By doing so, you are putting a virus into your mouth.

Don’t Hug & Don’t Share

Avoid hugging and handshaking these days. You can get coronavirus from anybody. Skin to skin can pass this virus. Also, don’t share your items like mobile phones, makeup, and combs. Sharing utensils is also prohibited in this situation.

Cover your mouth while sneezing & coughing

Coughing and sneezing are common with coronavirus. This virus lives in the mouth and nose. When you sneeze or cough, the air droplets can carry spread this virus to other persons. It can also land on any hard surface where it can live for 3 days. Use a tissue or cough into your elbow. This will keep your hands clean.

Social Distancing to avoid Coronavirus

Social distancing is working from home and staying home. If you want to go out cover your face and main 6 feet distance with other people. Talking to anyone closely can also spread this virus.

Quarantine in Coronavirus

You should self-quarantine if you feel you have symptoms. Death ratio is only two percent with coronavirus but if you take precautionary measures. Don’t sit, sleep, or eat with your loved ones if you are sick. Keep your distance and you will be okay.
