5G revolution blog for NYC

It is expected that the 5G revolution will bring the true revolution as its infrastructure truly relies on the optical network industry. Observing the current stats, it is said that, deployment of 5G networks will create new opportunities for the fiber optics, Cat6 Plenum Cables and its accessories industry. So, in other words, we can easily say that the 5G revolution is all relying on or in fact promoting the growth of the fiber optic industry. Here are some points that indicate how this industry will flourish.

5G Is Great For The Growth of IC Chips

The 5g network system is just slightly different than the 4g baseband unit. What it does is reconstructs all the major aspects of its previous generation into a new format. These aspects include baseband unit (BBU), radio antenna, and radio remote unit.

So, the revival of such technical aspects has means that the new optical transceivers and IC chips will be needed. In this way, it will improve the demand for IC chips and their related accessories.

5G Also Will Also Boost The Growth Of Fiber Cable And Structured Cabling Markets

There is no better option than fiber optic that could keep up with the increasing demand for 5G network. This is because this cellular network demands high bandwidth speed. Only this medium has the capability and can be trusted. The High-speed requirement and the reliability factor forced the network operators to choose one solid networking medium. As of now, we can only the fiber optic standard fulfilling this requirement.

Therefore, the fiber optic cables and network accessor are the only options for the current 5G spectrum for its future spread.  Moreover, the enhanced fiber optic cables that will be used for the 5G network spread can also easily handle the burden of high speeds and will also reduce the latency rate and producing less heat. So, all these reasons mean that it will enhance the growth of the fiber optic cables industry.

The Impact of Noval Coronavirus on 5G

It was said that 2020 would be the year when the world would experience the blazing fast speeds of the 5G network. Unfortunately, at the start of 2020, the universe has to bear with the noval coronavirus. It wasn’t a normal disease; it was a pandemic, and it worsened the development going on for the spread of 5G network. The worldwide lockdown was the first thing that was the setback for the development of this new cellular technology.

It deployed no antennas. The cellular network services providers also refused to work further on the spread of the 5G network. The companies and network services providers could not work. Their workforce was working from home. They could not deploy their towers as the whole setup got badly disturbed. So, in such a scenario, the growth of 5G network and its enhancement was not possible. In 2021, they assume it that we’ll see some improvements and we will use the 5G spectrum. In short, one can say that the coronavirus badly hit the development of the 5th generation cellular technology’s growth.

Conclusion:

Overall, the Cat6 Plenum cables may not be perfect but the 5G revolution is on its way for sure. One can’t say how much time it would take. But one thing is for sure it’s not the network cables on which it is relying. It’s the fiber optic cable network setup on which this entire system relies. So, one can say with confidence that the future of fiber optic cables is in safe hands.
