Cat6 Plenum Cable:

Because of the ever-evolving technological advancements, we all need our electronic devices to be connected. When that connectivity comes not only with supreme quality, reliability, and stability but also with affordability; who does not need that? Our category 6 cables are perfect for high-bandwidth intensive applications that not only requires high bandwidth capacity and high data transfer rates, but also excellent attenuation, reduction in cross-talks and other electromagnetic interferences, high data integrity and so forth. Our Cat6 cables that come with plenum jackets are ideal for high-performance plenum applications. This particular cable is consistent with all the category 6 specifications: and in addition to this consistency, the cable even exceeds some of the minimum base requirements of the industry. It is a UL Listed, EIA/TIA verified and RoHs compliant cable perfect for long term use. Moreover, because of the cable’s high specifications and quality, it can be ideally used for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet, 1000BASE-T (IEEE802.3), 100VG-AnyLAN (IEEE802.12), 550mhz broadband video voice, T1, ISDN 155/ 622 Mbps, and ATM PoE (Power over Ethernet).

This high-quality Ethernet network cable is stringently tested against its high performance and its specifications. It is rated to support bandwidth capacities up to 550 MHz, and data transfer rates of 1 Gbps.

The Cat6 plenum cables are integrated with 23 American Gauge Wire conductors, four unshielded twisted pairs and eight conductors in total. The twisted pair design inculcated in our cables is a market standard, which is intended to keep unwanted interferences down to an acceptable level. Such unwanted interferences are commonly talked about as ‘cross-talks’.  Cross talks can simply be understood as a nuisance. It a phenomenon that usually occurs when a signal from one cable confuses and overlaps with a signal from another cable that is running nearby. It really interferes with the quality of your transmissions and communications through the introduction of noises. Moreover, it can also be a due transfer of electrical energy between the conductors. All this can disturb your transmissions and as a result, your transmissions will experience high loss of data packets. Our Cat6 plenum cable comes with tighter twists, and thick sheathing which makes it possible for the cable to resist Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Alien Crosstalk (AXT); this all, in turn, ensures greater data integrity with reduced packet loss and delay in cables.

Apart from the electrical specifications of this cable, this Cat6 plenum cable is jacketed with a CMP (plenum) rated jacket that is highly recommended for areas through which air circulates. Areas or rather spaces through which air circulates, typically in-floor ventilation systems, are commonly referred to as plenum spaces. Now, before you are going through specifications of cable, you need to first lookout for space whereby the cable is needed to be installed. A plenum space requires a plenum rated cable. Such a space has a presence of high oxygen content, which essentially makes this space prone to catching fire. Therefore, the cable installed therein should have a special coating of fire-resistive materials just like Cat6 plenum cable. The insulation on our plenum cable is CMP rated which means that it has strict fire-resistive properties.
